With the start of the 2010 season only a few months away , Whaley Bridge Cricket Club are pleased to announce that the winter junior coaching will commence on a Friday night at St Thomas More School in Buxton and will be run with the assistance of Derbyshire Cricket Board Level 3 coaches this will commence on Friday 5th February 2010. The winter coaching will run for 10 sessions excluding good friday. the cost for these sessions is £25.00 per child. Parental consent and membership forms will again be required to be completed for the forthcoming season, The Child Welfare Officer, Team Captains and Coaches will be on hand to assist and answer any questions or queries that you may have. These forms can be downloaded from this site and handed in on the night. Subs will be £10 again this season and friday night training sessions will be the usual £2 per night.

The training sessions will take a similar format to last year, and times will be confirmed in due course. The sessions will be run as last year and it is hoped to try and place each child in the correct group to maximise their potential and enjoyment. This is by no means fixed and alterations may be made during the season if it is felt that a child is in the wrong session.
