Worplesdon and Burpham Cricket Club was formed by the merger of the respective Worplesdon and Burpham Cricket clubs in 2000. We were the first clubs in Surrey to consolidate two clubs strengths, an idea many clubs have embraced in recent years.

It has been an unequivocal success and we are now one of only a handful of 'Club Mark' status clubs in Surrey. Both clubs are rich in history with Worplesdon being formed in 1890 and Burpham shortly after the Second World War.

Our new pavilion was opened in 2008 providing much larger facilities, a brand new bar and kitchen to supply the all-important cricket teas and post-game drinks!

Prior to 2011, we played a proportion of our home games at the council run Sutherland Memorial Park in Burpham. However, since 2011 all our home games are played at Worplesdon as the standard of playing facilities on offer is vastly superior.

In 2009 we were proud to host the long standing Admiral Dunlop cup final at Worplesdon between Godalming and Guildford City, a testament to our excellent facilities and pitch.
