Good Weekend for Whaley Teams
It has been a good weekend for all the Whaley teams that played. The first and second teams both recorded wins in the league and the first team regained top spot, after they slipped 1 place mid week due to the suspension of Mellor and the nullification of all results against them. The U11 Thrashed Buxworth Sunday Morning and the 1stXI record a convincing with over division one Hawk Green in the afternoon.

Yet another, yes another HAT TRICK
Can this be true I hear you cry, The U15 Played at Hayfield tonight where Declan and Luke both scored 50's before they retired and Luke went on to take a HAT TRICK with the ball. Well done Luke and a well deserved win. 3 out of 3. According to Gibbo "it's all down to the manager"

U17 v Hayfield
The U17 entertained Hayfield on monday night, and although they lost, it was a truley superb game of cricket. Elliot and Luke batted very well and Declan reached his first of what I am sure will be many 50's. The boys batted correctly and I didn't see one slog all night. It was a joy to behold. We await the match report with baited breath!!!!!!

The U13 travelled to Buxton on Sunday for their first match of the season, only for it to be abandoned due to the wet weather. It has been decided to arrange a friendly fixture with Buxton later in the season to make up for it. Unfortunately the U17 first match of the season, at home to Buxworth was also abandoned on Monday night, due to a wet pitch. Role on some dry summer days.
